How should I prepare for my tattoo?
It is important to arrive well-rested, well-fed, well-hydrated, and clean. If you are able to, please shave the area to be tattooed. Please note that if you arrive sunburned or drunk, you will forfeit your appointment and deposit.
How much will it cost?
The cost of your tattoo will be $150/hr. This includes the design, supplies, shop fees, taxes, and the memories we will create together. Only the time spent tattooing will be charged.
What happens to my deposit?
Your deposit will be applied to the final price of the tattoo. If your tattoo requires multiple sessions, it will be applied to the last session. Please note that if you fail to show up for your appointment, cancel or reschedule with less than a week's notice, you will forfeit your deposit.
Can I see a drawing or sketch before my appointment?
No, I do not provide sketches or drawings before the appointment. If you have any doubts about my ability to execute your design, please do not book with me. We will review the design together on the day of your appointment and make any necessary modifications.
What should I wear for my tattoo?
Wear clothing that does not obstruct access to the area being tattooed. Comfortable clothes that you do not mind getting ink or blood on are also preferred.
Whats the temperature in the studio?
Our shop runs a little on the colder side. If you're the type of person who gets cold easily, feel free to bring a sweatshirt, comfy socks, or a blanket. (or all of them)
When can I go in the ocean again?
You should wait at least 2 weeks after your tattoo to go in the ocean, depending on the healing process.
Which spots on the body hurt the most?
Everyone is different, but you can generally expect that areas with thin skin, or are close to bone are generally going to be more intense in their sensations.
Common hot spots (from top to bottom) are as follows: scalp, face, collar bones & neck, sternum, armpit, ribs, elbow area (front & back), wrists and fingers (especially knuckles), stomach, genitals, under butt cheeks, inner thighs, knee area (front & back), feet & toes.
Can I bring my children or pet to my appointment?
No, under no circumstance. Children and pets are not allowed in the tattoo studio. Please reschedule your appointment.
(Exception: You have a documented service animal)
